Where does the time go?! It's hard to believe that the end of 2009 is on the horizon. Looking back, it's been a great year. I've been fortunate enough to play a lot of great shows all over Arizona and even some in California. I also got a chance to briefly go into the recording studio. On 9/13 I was in Chaton Studios with Sarah Vanell and band. We recorded a new song "Other Side of Green". The song is now finished and posted up on Sarah's website (www.SarahsMuse.com). It's been about a year that I've been with Sarah and the band. I have to say that I'm extremely grateful to be performing and working with such great musicians. We all stretch each other's creative talents...and when you learn, you grow. Looking ahead, I see more studio recordings and hopefully many more great gigs. Special thanks go out to everyone for their uneding support. Until next time...

2009 has been pretty good so far. We've had some nice gigs and a lot of great support from friends and family. Special thanks to everyone who's been able to make it out to a show. Looking forward, we've got some exciting new gigs ahead... including some openings for national artists! Keep your eye on the gig calendar page for more info. Another exciting bit of news for February is an addition to my family... guitar family that is. A couple weeks ago, I picked up a nice new Epiphone Thunderbird IV bass guitar. Vintage Sunburst finish. I'm lovin' it! It's got a great look and a big sound. I'm looking forward to taking it out to the next gig. (Epiphone Link: http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?ProductID=114&CollectionID=12 ) Well, that's it for now. Keep rockin'!

Happy New Year everyone! 2008 was exciting for me as a musician and performer. In September I joined Sarah Vanell's band as a bassist. Since then, I've been busy coming up to speed with the group, learning all of the tunes. The bass as an instrument was not new to me, but I had never performed as a bassist before. I'll have to admit, it's been fun and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. It's always a good experience pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what 2009 holds. Hopefully lots of fun shows and new songs. Good luck to you all in 2009!

I have gracefully accepted an invitation to be a permanent member of Sarah Vanell's band. I'll be performing as the bass guitarist, joining Tyce Thielsen on guitar and Rob Manino on drums. I've known the group for quite some time and am looking forward to making lots of great music together. For information on Sarah, visit www.SarahsMuse.com
